We also compared injections with cortisone, hyaluronic acid, and autologous blood (PRP) versus stem cells. We used only meta-analyses (summaries of all previous studies, not individual studies). Like all previous authors, we were able to demonstrate that stem cell therapy and autologous blood therapy are superior to hyaluronic acid or cortisone.
